Questions About PSA

It is great to get so much feedback about PSA. I was considering applying with them, but after reading this thread, I don't think I'll be doing that. I'm sure that PSA has much nicer airplanes than what I fly at Ram Air Freight, but it sounds like the QOL would be a whole lot worse. That is a deal breaker for me. You can't put a price on good QOL.

Why are you leaving Ram Air Freight? I assume because you work there, you have 135 mins and loads of multi PIC working at Ram Air? I would look at a Corporate gig....you've worked hard at Ram I'm sure to get quality time....don't go to a bottom of the barrel Regional....or any regional for that matter.
 
Basically on your day off you answer your phone and a lovely lady/man from scheduling will inform you of your new trip you just got.... Ooops there just cut into your 10 days off while on reserve...... AKA why the comment you dont answer your phone and nothing can really get put into your file, however you answer and say no they will write into your file you denied the trip.....

You can say no all you want, it won't go down in your file. If it's your day off and you're not at the airport you aren't required to come in or even give an explanation as to why you're not coming in.

haha man its going! WONT be alive for much longer..... Oral is Saturday.... Then off to meet with Jeremy in CLT...... haha actually no chance of that, what i am hearing in Montreal or STL! Either way I dont care on the city just want to get there for the sim and get it done.......

Hopefully you won't see me, I'll probably be in Charlotte all month except for one or two days.

I would love to get a good corporate gig, especially one that is in the Charlotte area. It seems like those are really hard to get though. You really need to know somebody and/or have a ton of turbine time. I currently have 3,200 TT and 504 multi. All of it is in piston airplanes. That is more than enough for any regional, but probably not enough to get a corporate gig unless you have some good connections.

There are some really good corporate gigs in the area. REALLY good. The best ones require quite a bit of turbine PIC time.
 
Thinking seriously about applying at PSA or AE soon.

Any new info on PSA? How is the QOL and how is training going so far for the new hires?
