Question on approved blood thinners

I have a history of Deep Vein Thrombosis and am wondering if the FAA has approved additional drugs for DVT prophylaxis. Specifically Arextra which is FDA approved for this indication. I have been on Lovenox and warfarin for six months but can not come close to FAA requirement for 80% compliance with target INR's. I have been approved on Lovenox on S.I. in the past but stopped it and suffered an unprovoked DVT two years after. My Hematologist tells me Arixtra is a much better long term S.Q drug. Is there any chance the FAA will approve Arixtra or should I just stay with Lovenox for my application. Ready to submit after 7 month recovery period.

Thanks in advance

Dabigatran, Pradaxa, is not allowed. It has started to have some significant bleeding problems and side effects so I doubt they will approve it soon. Arixtra is approved for Special issuance.

Thanks a lot Dr. Is there a waiting period while on Arixtra for side effects, or can I just submit with a letter from my Hematologist.
