Question for CRJ drivers

What do you log this airplane as in your logbook?
CL-65?
CRJ?
CRJ200/CRJ700/CRJ900?
Riddle JeeeEEEt?

I just got logbook pro and I am trying to do a little tweaking going forward to make everything more professional/accurate. I have been doing "CRJ" , but I am thinking about putting CL-65 since that is the type rating on our certificate right? Thanks!

Personally, I log it as CRJ100, CRJ200, or CRJ900. That makes it easy for me to separate the time on type if I ever have to do so.

Either way though, it makes no difference.

I don't log time. I just guess whatever I've done in the past year and write it down. :sarcasm:

I'm assuming it's tacky to bring a bunch of trip books into an interview. I haven't done my log book in 4 years. Good thing I don't have to do that for a while...;)

Thanks everyone. Even though I fly about half and half between the 200 and 700, I dont see any reason why they need to be differentiated. I'm going with CL-65, it's what's on my certificate and I can't see anybody having problems with that down the road.

There is nothing wrong with just logging it as CL-65. I'm anal when it comes to logbooks, so I have it split up between the CR2/7/9. The other reason is that some foreign airlines (I've heard Cathay, etc.) actually want to see a breakdown.

I also log it as CL-65 in my paper log book. When I goto the 700/900 I'll still log it as CL-65 since that's what's on the back of my certificate.

Perhaps when I finally get LogBook Pro, I'll start breaking it down.

I have been flying CRJ's overseas for a few years now. I log the specific type. Many foreign operators want to know the breakdown of time, especially between 100/200 and 700/900.
