Question for CFI's teaching in C-150's & C-172's

Re: Question for CFI\'s teaching in C-150\'s & C-172\'s

Awwwww, sorry if you got your feelings hurt........there are a lot of students here and I didnt want them to get the wrong impression about their aircraft. That is hardly flaming by the way, and this isnt a flame war. It is merely a discussion about the flaps on a Cessna, so dont get all bent out of shape over it. Inviting somebody to provide proof to back up their opinion is not a put-down, so if you feel so strongly about it, get back to us and prove that Cessnas have fowler flaps. Otherwise there is no debate, is there?

Let me tell you the importance of knowing the type of flaps that your aircraft has.

I've got about 1800 or so hours in the MD-88. I have no idea what type of flaps the wings have!
