Question for 737NG drivers

If it's an Airbus, who cares?;)

If it ain't a Boeing, I ain't going!:D

There is nothing wrong with scarebus. Starting a APU on a scarebus is a lot easier than a Boeing, but that is about it. Also being able to pick different menus on the scarebus is cool.

Boeing 757/767. Turn switch clockwise...

A few moments later, the "RUN" light pops on.

Huh?! :)

Scarebus is click the groundpower, turn on battery, turn on master APU, wait for flap open, and then hit APU on.

Did your MD-80s have the switch to change the hydraulic pressures to 1500 psi? It seems to have been optional.

Nope. Like a "LOW" switch or something? I think the TWA jets had that. I'll have to ask fo4ever.

The Delta 737NGs have the secondary engine instruments on the Lower Display panel... No EICAS, it's all state of the art 1960s Annunciator lights...

No low switch on the DAL Maddogs
Just ON and OFF for the (elect)pump and transfer pump...

BTW the OFF position of the landing gear is going away on new Boeings:

737 is the same except you push the switch forward instead of turning it clockwise.

You are right, the Airbus APU is much simpler to start. Those French folks are so incredibly clever. :insane:

I've done a quite of brake rides with the B737 and A320, the 737 is not hard, only thing that is different is the APU generators switches on the 737.

Oh yeah, I forgot about them. No wonder the FAs keep complaining about no galley power. :laff:

SFCC/UND ? Put down the MSFS. I command thee. Perhaps the day will come when both pilots may have the fish, however, today is not that day. ;)
