Question about local spotting

Since I can't fly yet, I wanted to go to any of the local airports to watch some planes come in/take off.

I live in New Jersey, not too far from Atlantic City Intl. I'm not sure how busy they are, so if anyone knows, tell me. I can also go to airports like Millville or Cape May airport.

Thanks.

Good website in general. Says there is around 260.day. Not "terribly" busy, but a lot more so than where i fly out of. SHould be able to see some neat planes. Also, almost half are military it looks like, so that's cool.

Go to radioshack and get a cheap handheld scanner and listen in to the tower frequencies. Lots to learn and lot of fun, You can find all the freqs at airnav also.

So, could this work? I don't want to spend too much money, since I probably won't be over there too often.
