Good documentary on the Quantas A380. Little long, but lots of good details. Lots of good in CRM to learn from this. One thing a lot of pilots forget is... Flight attendants are not just cocktail waitresses, and ATC is still part of your crew. Good job Quantas.

Very interesting. Definitely recommend the book QF32 by the Capt. Very interesting read and goes into a lot of detail regarding the CRM scenarios as well as the systems.

Unfortunate fact: Since the number one engine failed to shut down until several hours after departure it continued to provide power to the CVR, and as that device only recorded the last two hours of cockpit conversation before overwriting the previous data there is no CVR recording of the event.
