Q's to IAH round 2

Ask the guy I saw in IAD yesterday sitting on hot reserve all day because he was yanked off his line for OE.

IMHO, a small price to pay when your airline is growing with FO and CAPT vacancies. Small term pain for long term gain. Shoot, they could GLADLY take my trip for OE if my airline were in the same situation.

Are you going to take your commander spot?

A pretty smart Wookie and the only practicing democrat in Arizona once told me to never bypass an upgrade.

I think it's pretty good advice, especially now.

Look at the bright side. You might be stuck in the Sewer, but you should at least be off the reserve list now.

I'm not sure if it covers all the Qs arrival. I'm guessing a few of those Q guys don't want to come to the Saab either.

Q guys are crazy for not accepting the SAAB left seat. Some of them think the SAAB is below them.

I guess more vacancies for our junior FOs. Excellent news.

I'm hoping I'll get Saab Capt next time around. Things are looking good here

Thanks for listening to the Wookie and Democrat!:D

Shhhhhhhh!! There's only like seven saab fo's ahead of me on the list man. I think all the Q FO's should hold out for the Q upgrade :)

Yesterday I had 12 SF3 FOs in front. However that changed today. I have realized how bidding for a spot just to see where you would fall, can screw up other guys. Yesterday a guy was able to hold SF3 CA but when other captains turned down their bid for the Q, it took away that seat.

It also looks like they raised the minimums to upgrade in the Saab.

Still 1 day for people to turn down awards, but it looks like Q CA EWR is now junior again to the Saab. Early 2008 hire is holding it!

4 days, closes on 30th at 13:00 EST.

Another thing I thought was odd, they won't reduce the time for transition upgrades. We are pilots, we can fly an airplane- even Barbie Props.

I'm confused as to why we raised the mins on the Saab but reduced the Q. There are guys who upgraded a few moths ago, who would no longer be eligible for upgrade.

What are the mins to upgrade in the Saab now?

2500tt and then some turbine and 121 requirements.

A few months ago it was 2200tt if you had met certain criteria, like time at Colgan and turbine time.

The Q EWR CA just went even junior. Using my employee number, I would assume this crew member was probably a March 2008 hire, and can hold Q EWR CA.

Dayyyummmm!

I just lost holding ALB as an FO. Would have been nice to save 2 hours of driving past ALB to get to SYR.
