***PUBNAT4***

Long time reader, first time poster.

Congratulations! You have been chosen for further consideration for an Air Traffic Control Specialist (ATCS) position at the Washington Air Route Traffic Control Center in Leesburg, Virginia.

Have you debated whether or not you may actually break the refresh button?

As I posted over in the PUBHI thread, I seriously doubt I am gonna get an email. If I do get one, great, if not, I am not gonna worry myself over it.

In the mean time, its time to start seriously looking for promotion inside of the company. :D

Oh and I will be back from time to time, to make fun of whoever it is that posts that ugly ass pasty white dude in their avatar, as well as lament with others, and look damn fine doing it.

zz :)

you love the pasty white dude! should i bring him back for a day or two????

Just talked to Paul and he told me that if you haven't recieved an e-mail by the end of this week that you are pretty much SOL. Here is to everyone getting an e-mail by Friday night including myself.

You may still be selected up to 60 days after when the Selection Panel met. Some have posted that they were selected a month or longer after the Panel meeting.

Congrats NiteSky on both your offer and first post!

As much as I'd like to believe that, I'm pretty sure the majority of us still standing around waiting are S.O.L., and need to start looking elsewhere for employment. Such a letdown for such a long waiting period.... :banghead::banghead::banghead:

Hang in there...I'm going on a full year since the first PUBNAT I applied to and I'm only NOW starting to see some progress. From what I've seen on here it has take. some folks even longer than that...

Hey! am I the ugly pasty white guy is that what my life has come too, lol. I talked to Chris he said that same thing he said if you don't here something by the end of this week then... you probably wont (audio in background wan wan waaaaaaaaaaaan). I figure hey what the heck gives me more time to get things in order right (keep telling yourself that it'll make you feel better). I was trying to get picked up with a pretty narrow geo pref (FLORIDA). Knowing I applied to additional apps gives me a chance to take tours and also figure out where ill open my geo prefs up to. I'm looking for a level 10 or higher facility southern state with warm weather and water good luck eh.
any suggestions let me know I really want ZMA or even MIA so ill keep trying and see what happens.

Congrats to all who made it, have blast at the PEPC, Here is to number 6 & 7 getting something in the next YEAR.

Hey guys, got my PEPC invite as well. Will be in NYC on Feb 24, 10am. Think I'll book the Fairfield also. And, thank you to everyone that posts. It is so nice to have other people to reference during this CRAZY process!

:yeahthat:

Unfortunately for me, I didn't apply for PubNats 5 & 6 as I didn't know you could do that and I turn 31 early next year, so unless PubNat 7 moves along quick ( :p ), I've missed the boat.

I hear that, I'm not in that same boat but its darn close. I have 36months until I'm out of the game. So I would say pick somewhere Inhospitable and geographically undesirable and the chances are increased. Just don’t expect to transfer after the first year. You got the radioactive mine dump cause its not a “prestigious location” on the brighter side you got a foot in the door!
