I'll give that a shot but I don't think her computer would show otherwise, it's an awesome thought though.

UPDATE:Vanessa told me to wait for an email letting me know if I was selected within 2 to 4 weeks. Guess the higher-ups told her to shut her mouth.
 
So I called again and got a hold of Pam, and I immediately knew that I wasn't going to get anything out of her. However, she did say that there has been a miscommunication that her office is giving out the information we're seeking, and that they actually don't have the information there. So apparently you guys who said you got info concerning the selections are either lying, or more likely there is no set standard in the HR office on what they should do and now they're trying to put a stop to it.:mad:
 
I called at 9:30 this morning after I read what HonuPineapple said. I don't remember who I talked to, but she looked up my name and told me I was picked for Miami Center. She also said that all of the selections wouldn't be "finalized" until next week.

I have a friend who is among the crop of candidates for the Pubnat 4. What number should he call? Do you know when the 2nd referral list ought to be generated?
 
I would trust honupinapple's word. My money would be on the "We let the cat out of the bag too early and now we have to cover our butts." explanation. Still, it's nice to know that we will all know where we stand in a few weeks.

Confirmed for awesomeness. I called and spoke to Pam and said "So even though the gentleman I spoke to earlier told me I was not selected yadda yadda yadda" she said not to worry as they don't even have half the information they should and they only have notice of a few people who were selected. I'm not a religious man but I pray to actually get selected:banghead::banghead::banghead:
 
I definitely believe what Honu and others have said. They're just trying to cover their butts now, although I don't know who it really harms if the info is given out. I guess the rest of us will just have to wait now which is what we're good at.:whatever:
 
Waiting patiently now, cause they aren’t letting anyone know anymore. Here is hoping to emails being sent tomorrow.

Also I was told that there was another PUBNAT coming out Feb/March so if needed there is another opportunity.
 
Ahhhhh now i'm officially going crazy! I just called and spoke to a Paul. Awesome guy, really polite and sincere, but he said he doesnt have the information either. That there is speculation amongst applicants but that's about it. He said to sit tight another 1-2 weeks and we'll hear something back.

But he did mention, not to get in trouble in OKC. Apparently it's on the rise, and they keep getting their students drunk and locked up, or in fights and locked up!
 
Well it really serves no purpose for us to lie. I wondered if She wouldnt finally shut up about the info. the info apparantly has to be "audited" before it is "official".

I'm going to agree with this. I might check here once a week from here on out. All the back and forth does nothing but stress people out EVEN MORE than we all already are. I would suggest leaving OKC alone, as they obviously are having issues, and just wait for th emails. When you get one, let us know so we all know to check for our own. Happy waiting... I'm gonna go take some Xanax :panic:
 
I called this morning also and a polite guy named Danny I think after putting me on hold for about 5 minutes told me that I was not selected. But after reading what has happen today I have a ray of hope so I am going to wait for the f....... emails before I start worriying more :crazy:
 
Poor Vanessa. She made my whole day! She did tell me they have up to 60 days to contact me via email, but to expect something in the next week or two. I applied for 3 & 4 and did not think to ask which announcement I was selected under... Sorry to all you who were unable to get information this morning. I called at 6:15 PST.
 
Well we have to consider the possibility that they actually don't have all the info yet. Some facilities have their lists, some don't.

If you're calling over and over again and they keep saying they don't have info on you, maybe they really don't. Maybe your states or facilities are still "pending".
 
Trust me, when emails start going out...you'll see these boards LIGHT UP! Calling isn't going to help b/c the right had doesn't know what the left hand is doing!
