***PUBNAT4***

louisiana and georgia here. terminal only.

i put down NEW and MSY for louisiana although i know that MSY has been full ever since katrina.

and anything BUT ATL in georgia. getting thrown to the wolves isnt my idea of a good career start.

oh ya.. lets hear it dredding!:nana2:

MO and TN, Terminal only. Left comments that I prefer STL, even though the comments are supposed to only be for picking counties in big states. :)

I was so happy to get the e-mail.

I requested anywhere in Indiana/Ohio.

Enroute: ZID (hopefully)
Terminal: CVG (hopefully)

I got mine the same time all of you guys did, I screamed, called my mom, and checked my email again just to make sure it all wasn't a figment of my imagination. Then I think I screamed again, I'm not sure...

As far as what to choose, I'm with Bigey. A big part of me is spoiled and doesn't want to leave So Cal (among other reasons why I'm spoiled), and the other portion of me doesn't want to miss this opportunity so I'll go anywhere there's a need. Yet another part of me doesn't want to get stuck in Anytown, USA. Contradictions aside, anyone heard of someone NOT getting CA? Most if not all of the members I've seen here got CA if they asked for it, but I still want some feedback from my fellow Pub4ers. Any suggestions? Thanks ahead of time.

Does anyone know how long until you get on the referral list?

refferal lists will usually come out a few weeks after the close of the Geo Prefs, and only a few days before the panels meet. so when the list does come out, then you know the panels are meeting, and job offers are only about 2 weeks away

How long after they meet until you get a job offer? Okay, if you accept the job offer, then do they give you a PEPC date? How does this work?

I am definitely interested in those same questions. I'm curious as to how long I'll be waiting for a PEPC date. I've been reading in the forums that once you get to the PEPC, you're basically in. Does that sound correct to anyone?

I'm so happy to finally get the geo prefs. I'm aiming for Seattle en route or Denver en route. Good luck, fellow pubnat4's!

I think i am going to do the same geo prefs as you did. WA and Co but I'm thinking en route and terminal. Hope we both can get into one of those states!!

Aw, good luck!

So it looks like you live in Denver currently? I haven't spent any time there--is it a good place for people in their mid 20's?

There is a ton to do in town (Bars, Restaurants, Sporting events) and the mountains are always right there if you want to get out of town to do great outdoor type stuff. If you get Denver Center you would be north of town and have quick access to Rocky Mountain National Park.

I have lived a few different places around the state over my entire life including college so my opinion may be a little biased.

If you kinda go through Pub2's thread(s) (I know, they have like 63 in total), you can see the length on some of the member's signatures. Plus on the main thread their conversation pretty much outlines the process through time as they're waiting, just like we're doing but a few months ago. Plus I think I saw a thread on the main page devoted to the time frame, though don't quote me on it...lol now that I say that, I'm sure at least one of you will...:D

haha i screamed too. then called like 15 people on my contact list.

however my gf was PO'ed because shes not gonna be happy abou tme leaving for 3 months..

but man its ONLY 3 months... i'd be gone 3 years for this if it means ill be working the coolest job ever and getting green for it!:D

I recieved the geo pref. email on Nov 25th. I am thinking about Seattle, WA and California.

My questions is... if I choose Cali, what are the best places to go? I use to live in San Jose and I like it there but I don't know anything about San Diego or LA etc ..what do you guys think? ...Also, what do you think are my chances of getting WA or CA? I might pick Terminal & Enroute....:)

I need a little help, because I am still in college and will not graduate until May. I received my geo preferences on the 25th, but if I am offered a job, is it possible to delay my entrance into the Accadamy?
