Just recieved a second email from an HR Rep. Reading it now. Will post it if it has any additional info that may be pertinent.
 
So the second email I just recieved was from a second HR person but appears to be for a different job? I applied under pubnat 3 and 4. Read below:

"My name is Robert Anderson and I am a Human Resource Specialist in the Human Resource Management Division, Aviation Careers Division in Oklahoma City for the Federal Aviation Administration. We manage the centralized hiring process for air traffic controllers.

You have been identified for an interview for a terminal air traffic control position. If you have not already been contacted, a representative of the Air Traffic Organization responsible for the interview process will be contacting you to schedule an interview or to invite you to attend one of our Preemployment Processing Centers. "

also:

"NOTE: We are not authorized to release the facility you have been assigned so you will need to wait until you receive the tentative job offer. "

What is this nonsense? The one before said Enroute in Fremont, CA. That's obviously Oakland Center, but this one says they can't even tell me? Why does everyone else get to know where they are headed? Why did I get 2 emails? And why did I see the number 17 in that color blindness test? WHAT THE HECK IS GOING ON?


 
Congrats That is awesome though why is the terminal e-mail now like the enroute's weird e-mail. still no PEPC invite. this is madness

It's not a weird email. When you get an offer you two different emails. One from the contractor that invites people to the pepc(the one that people received thur and fri), and a second one from your HR person with forms attached to send back to them(the ones from today). It seems that there has been no PEPC emails at all today and that some of the HR people are ahead of those emails. The same thing happened for the PUBNAT 2 emails. They didn;t change the format, every person with an offer is supposed to receive both.
 
So the second offer was a mistake I guess. I was on some duplicate list in the state of Washington. They told me to disregard that. I guess it's Oakland Center afterall.

I really hope the rest of you get your emails soon. It seems that the FAA doesn't really have their acts together.

In PUBNAT 2 were the initial emails sent out over the course of several days/weeks, or just a couple days? In other words, should I remain hopeful that I may still get an email?

I believe it was a couple wed afternoon that no one believed was real, then more on thur, then most on fri, a few on mon and tue. Then sporadic offers throughout the next few months and then the louisiana email. It should all still be in that forum.
