Alright!! Thank god they are here!! I called OKC and the woman told me to pick the 2 states I prefer, hence the word pref. It's only a preference, not a demand. She then said to put in the comments box "Will go anywhere in the U.S." if I am willing to. So I put down FL and GA, but if my only way in is to go to Alaska, then by god I'm becoming an eskimo.

No, I got a GEO PREF email right before I washed out of OKC. My dumb ass didn't fill it out.

I did too! They've shot me down when I was wide open with choices, so I figure i'm going to try and be picky. At this point, I dont care. The other way didnt work, so i'm trying a new way. Maybe my direct, blunt approach to the area I want to work will do something. If not, oh well, i'm still content with everything!:rawk:

I'm starting to feel like JC is like the old MTV show "Next" where everyone sat around in an RV proclaiming how awesome they were and how THEY would be the one to get the person of the preferred sexual persuasion to go out with them. After they exited the bus, they got to go on all these little escapades with that person to see if they passed muster. Once they saw/hung out with the person outside, they would either be accepted or rejected. If rejected, they'd come back to the bus and tell everyone why they got rejected. If they got accepted, they were almost never heard from again.
Side note: according to the missus, my Academy packet just arrived at the house.

Psssh. There's still a few from PUBNAT2 hanging around. Shoot, I started back on PUBNAT3 and don't have a date in hand. It was easy to convince some of us to take transfers recently when they said that keeping our original facility would turn a two year wait into a four year one...

Can you go ahead and set aside my beer money please? I'm not CTI and VRA only applies to vets that were ATC while serving. Now I am a vet, so I have a preference, but I was just an F-14 avionics tech. No VRA or CTI here..... Do I get to pick what type of six pack? I'm partial to Grolsch Lager. :beer:
