PUBNAT5 types seem really antsy! I'm signed up for 3-7, have my PEPC next month, and hopefully I won't need to get as far as 5, 6, or 7.

This is really taking longer than it should. Feel sorry for you guys cause I know how it feels to just be waiting, and waiting, and waiting. My advice... take on a project. Learn something new. Read the encyclopedia at least once. Can't hurt, right?

Thank you so much for catching my grammatical error! Since the grammar police are in the house I will be making a more conscious effort to avoid any future errors in my informal forum message posts.
 
What is the average age in here? I am on a time crunch myself..... the age limit is 31 and I have until August to make it in. I hope they start movin' soon! Anyone else in the same predicament?

Varies. Got some fresh-out-CTI guys, some second career people (like me), a few younger ones. And, of course, some veteran controllers, but there's only like one and a half of those here.

22, graduating in May. I'd really like the process to move faster, but I don't have the same sense of urgency as you unfortunately do. My friends father in law however does, and he's sweatin' bullets.

Conscious efforts are usually the types that make positive things happen. Wouldn't want you to go around spouting stuff off unconciously. :)

It's simple english grammar. We learn that kind of stuff in elementary school. Details like that are what the ATC job is all about!

wats you means we rs bad spellers? the faa wouldnt lets us applys if wes where bad spellers. :sarcasm:

ok, now my point. its the internet guys don't take it to serious on spelling and other things. it has no true relationship between how you type and act on the internet to how you are in real life. and if you do have a problem with spelling errors use firefox with its built in spell checker.

nope no one knows and theres been alot of rumored dates that have come and passed with nothing coming from them. so like i herd from someone else just chill the geoprefs should be out within a week give or take a few months.
 
I hope we are getting closer....there is a pepc in chicago this month. appears a lot of the pubnat 4 folks are headed there
 
I remember reading somewhere when I applied what the order of the process is but can not remember. Is the interview at the PEPC? Do we find out if we are hired after the interview at the PEPC or do we again have to play the waiting game?

Yes, your interview is done at the PEPC. At the PEPC you will do

Vision Test
Hearing Test
Drug Test
Urinalysis
EKG
Interview
MMPI
Security (Fingerprints, etc.)

You will also receive your TOL at the PEPC. Your FOL is when you actually find out the date you start the academy.
