No "en-route" per se. HCF operates just like a large tracon (like nct or sct) from what I understand. They do approach control for all the islands.

hey don't stress tnak - I've got academic probation at 2 community colleges because I don't have the patience to sit through the months and months of instruction drooling on myself out of boredom.
I'd put money on the probability of a lot of ATC'ers having bad academic records.. we're kinda crazy like that eh?

I graduated with distinction in undergrad, but failed I think 3 courses in med school. So I'm worried about that. Plus, my undergrad won't send out transcripts unless you light a fire under their asses. So that could be trouble.

indeed.. don't stress.. don't stress until you have to send in your transcript and hope they don't take one look at you and go... "eh... not really what we're looking for."
I'm hoping i'll get a call back from HR about the emails and forms and whatnot so i can ask them about the record and why they need it.

I've been a bum the whole day basically, not leaving the house and in my sleep attire. Well my aunt saw me about an hour ago, and she's like "omg, dont let yourself go just cuz of this!" And i was looking at her with a huge piece of chicken in my mouth. She thought that i was that down and i started to let myself go, because there i am unshaven (3 days HOLY CRAP!) looking like bum, and eating with my hands.

Not to make you feel bad again, but the same thing was said when pubnat 2 emails went out....and I don't remember anyone getting anything like 4-5 days after the first e-mails went out (not including the LA e-mail). Trust me I am still hoping for an invite to, but its not looking to good. After waiting about a week after the first e-mail I sent an e-mail to the address in the job posting asking if I was selected and got a response a few days later telling me no, but to keep applying. Good luck!

According to the nice lady I spoke with on the phone, she said if you don't hear anything by mid-February, move on to the next PUBNAT. Which would make me sad.
But, keep in mind that they combined 4 publications into one PEPC, unlike PUBNAT2. So I am hopeful that it will go beyond a few days.

True...but that was because they were finished. They hired more people this time and had a lot more lists to go through. Could you imagine the chaos from a PUBNAT 2 passover who said they would be willing to take LA, applied for PUBNATS 3 and 4 and chose two different states for each and had PUBHI and PUBAK? That is potentially 7 referral lists. If they had a let's say 96.5 score they could potentially get picked up by all 7. Where do they go? Who fills the empty spots that they don't go to? A few people have called and they have told them that they are not finished this time. I haven't seen a single enroute PEPC invite, just HR letters. Same happened on 2 where a few HR reps were ahead of the people sending the PEPC invites. Honu hasn't received anything and she was let know that she was selected. If the selections go strictly by the heriarchy listed on here by several people then just by what I have seen I would have qualified for TX, HI, AK, TN and LA. What's the chances that I was passed over for five refferal lists and they hired no one on this website for enroute or for northeastern towers? Oh and they must have changed their minds about Honu and that other person going to ZME. Relax, chill out, and quit calling so they can get some work done.
