PTSD Disqualifying?

I am currently an Air Traffic Controller in the USAF. I have been diagnosed with PTSD (Post Tramatic Stress Disorder) because of my time served in Iraq. Just wondering if something like this will hurt my chances for future FAA ATC employment. My particular case of this disorder only effects my sleep, I don't have flashbacks during the daytime or anything that would be a hinderance to the job. Just recurring nightmares, almost everynight. Also, would any perscriptions drugs that are used to treat this disorder be disqualifying? One more question, if I am able to get over this disorder, could it still be disqualifying having this in my medical record? Thanks for your time!

They are going to review your military medical records and probably have you talk to a psychologist. Pending those actions, they will make a determination. These cases are decided on an individual basis.
