PSA Rumor

I was standing there by the belt loaded one second. The next second I was looking at the sky. It hurt like a SOB.

That feel, I know it.

Although there was one morning in O'Hare where there was steam coming off the ramp, the sun was coming out and it was a smidgen below freezing...so cold weather ops can be pretty awesome too.

How many times was I told to STFD on this website? You know nothing about GoJet. You're just a flight attendant. In hindsight, I was correct, though ATN_Pilot & Seggy would never have the balls to admit it.

Really? What exactly were you "correct" about? If you actually were, I'll be happy to admit it. I just don't remember what you're talking about.

How going to Gojet wouldn't ruin your career. No one will care in 5 years if you weren't an A lister. Quick upgrade into a jet. Probably fast track your career. Etc.

I'm not sure that I agree with that. While it's probably true that if you're hired today, you'll likely be ok, the closer you were hired to the old "A-Lister" time frame, the more likely you'll find push back from a lot of guys who were regional pilots at the time. And those guys are now of the age and experience that they'll be moving onto major airline hiring boards soon, if they aren't already there.

My position has been the same for a few years now: there's nothing morally or ethically wrong with going to work for GoJet. It's just another crappy regional airline. But it may not be the wisest career move, because some people hold grudges, and those people may be sitting across from you at an interview.

TA reached on an LOA which would " Modify certain terms of our current contract in exchange for specific items that will improve the career expectations of PSA pilots."
Nothing specific as to what the changes are. It now goes to the MEC.

Disclaimer: I am 100% out of the loop, haven't talked to anybody and know nothing...

That said, I wouldn't be surprised if the "changes" focus around language that was written that the company didn't fully understand at the time of signing and now realized will cost them huge amounts of money down the road. Things like day trades involving critical coverage or the ability to trade vacation in real time.
