PSA Hiring

I am a Sim Instructor for PSA. I was at Comair 18 years before we closed our doors. I really like this company and feel it would be a great place to come if you are looking. I have helped several get interviews and if you want to talk to me you can call me directly at 859-466-7226. I will answer any questions you may have.
We are hiring around 50 a month right now. Ground school is in Dayton. You get full pay and Per Diem during training plus single occupancy room. Simulator is about 2 weeks in CVG then off to CLT for 700/900 diff. training. Then you go do IOE.

Yes but I was doing this way before that started. We need pilots and I have helped quite a few get interviews. I also helped a lot of pilots get interviews over the years at Comair. So, if any one is interested call me with your questions. Thank you.

Okay...I don't understand the snarky comments here. At all. If this guy was a snake oil salesman trying to peddle his wares here, I'd say sure--let him have it. But this guy is volunteering to help fellow pilots get their careers going by answering their questions.

Sure, everyone's hiring and PSA might not be the right place for some people. But what's wrong with someone trying to help people get interviews anyway? I would think it would be a good sign about a potential applicant if they were proactive and called asking for information. I'd be interested in recruiting that pilot.

I don't know comair8904, but I'm pretty sure he's legit, and that he is really trying to help. He took a sizable risk by putting his phone number directly on the Internet for all to see, yes, but that's his prerogative.

Seems to me some guys are burning bridges just because they think they'll never have to cross them one day. I hope those people reconsider.

Yes he is, but helping new hires is necessary to achieve his goal of earning a couple bucks via a recruiting bonus. If you call this guy, I say you get him to split the bonus with you.

Seriously, why bash this guy? He found a place where he likes to be and is just happy to tell everyone about it.
However , he does have major in intestinal fortitude for posting his phone number on a public forum.
I don't work for PSA so I don't know how badly they're hurting for pilots. Maybe they are and he's trying to get quality pilots to come over?
Who knows? I'm sure not a mind reader

What people don't realize is that it's in the best interest of anybody at a property to do everything they can to get good quality candidates to that property. Those candidates, if hired will all become FOs, junior to everybody there and some day will occupy their right seats. Speaking from experience I'd much rather have a sharp, good guy in the right seat rather than a bottom of the barrel, shot down by every other regional guy.

Answering questions when asked and helping people get on board is fine. Do it without solicitation though and leave it to the person asking the questions to ask for a referral. Otherwise you just look like you're trolling for bonus bucks.

Helping people AND making extra money?

The nerve of some people.....
