PSA gets a pay raise.

As a year three CA I’m going from $71 to $85 an hour. I’ll take it.

This based off a blended rate. As we get rid of the 15 scheduled 200s this year and take delivery of the rest of Envoy’s 700 and the new 900’s that rate will go up.

This is good news! I’m planning on going to a regional in the next 4-5 months. I’d like a PHL base since I live in the area. PSA was at the top of my list. This makes it even more attractive. Hopefully I can get in soon.

Do you think Piedmont will follow suit and raise their pay? It’s pretty low at the moment.

Historically what one WO gets the others do...so we shall see

And mainline is in negotiations and very much behind their peers.

To be honest I’m pretty shocked to see any raises come to the WOs right now. I know our salaries are “small potatoes” compared to the overall budget at AAG but with negotiations ongoing at mainline and Piedmont arguably becoming a dumpster fire pretty quickly I’m just a little surprised PSA got raises and not all 3.

I feel like I just found a dollar bill on the ground but I’m afraid to turn it over and find poop on the other side and a cameraman jump out of a bushes to laugh at me. I just know AAG has something up its sleeve.

I don't want to be morose, but after this Max stuff I think there is zero political palete to overturn the 1500 hour rule now, so there's that to contend with.

I've also been told that the only reason Piedmont exists is to keep Envoy and PSA's demand's in check. At this point I really don't understand what the point of that company is.

Lastly, I'm going on 5 years, 7 years total at the regionals, and generally ascribe to "nothing good happens in the regionals" so I'm right there with ya wondering what the trick is, but hey money is money, and I'm either gonna get hired or flow soon, so I guess I'll take it.

Yea I keep wondering if it is to move us away from forced-upgrades with the senior-manned FOs? Prime us for further growth? Etc... Could be one or several things.

You guys are getting Envoy’s 700s? What happens to Envoy? So glad to be out of the regional rat race. It’s not your fault or the pilot group’s fault (except when they voted concessions for growth). But it’s sickening to see RJs shift from one regional to another. Only one winner here: management.

It’s been happening for the last four years. Old news. Don’t worry, Envoy is doing just fine.

Like the guys above said, we’ve been taking their 700’s for a while now at an average of one per month. We have about 12 more to take (supposedly by the end of the year). Envoy is getting new 175’s and they pulled 135’s out of the desert to supplement the 145 flying in various places.

Happy for the PSA guys, hopefully this gives the AWAC negotiating committee some ammo as we go back into talks with the company this summer. We’re going on year 16 of a concessionary contract.
