Well passed my oral about 1 hour ago! Until the 17th I have free and then I start Sim down in STL...... Time to relax a little bit and unwind from a long 4 weeks.....

I should be at Flight Safety the same time you are...we're doing all our training here in STL and will most likely be at the same location for the 170 sim sessions.

I like how you did the oral after ground school and then you go to sim, kind of a nice flow. When I went through training back in the day (2 weeks ago) we did the oral and then the sim check on the second to last day of training two weeks after ground school. It was more like a traditional checkride but given the option ( I wasnt) it would have been nice to knock out the oral while it was still nice and fresh in my brain housing group.
the only good point is that I learned alot more in the two weeks studying for the checkride than I did in groundschool because i had two extra weeks to study.
