Proudly All...... well, something

Yeah, that way you don't have to the bill for the adult movies you bought.

Coworker of mine was telling me about some Capt at, I believe ASA(?), when he was working there nearly 15 years ago who never showed up for the morning van, and they found him in his hotel room David Carradine style.

There was a captain there that had a heart attack while he was getting ready in the morning. It was about that time frame. They had to break the door down to get in the room. He didn’t make it.

Damn, 2 AS FOs have died very recently during layover (and I think one on vacation). One in Kona and one in Meixco. From what I heard the Mexico was a surfing accident. Don't know about Kona.

Ugh that's just sad :(
Know was a former QX’er, and someone right around my seniority date. Really good guy.

Heart attack, that’s all I know. He was right around my age too.

RIP SP :(

Just announced that Alaska (Virgin America) will be closing their JFK pilot base September 1st. Condolences to the guys that now have a cross country commute ahead of them :(

How Many pilots are based in NYC? I can’t see too many people wanting to commute cross country when there are many opportunities out east

I feel really bad for these pilots. Some came to VX and even turned down furlough at their previous jobs because they were happy there. Now AS buys them, and says nope to an East Coast hub and if they decide to stay they will get ripped on by “legacy” AS guys if the SLI doesn’t purely favor the AS side. This industry is jacked up man

You should have shown him this boudoir pic

Saving this for a “this is my significant other” for a super trumper captain.

Are you at least going to be able to upgrade on the west coast?

AS's section 24 is in full effect, and technically it does say a displaced pilot will be afforded the option to displace according to his system seniority. It remains to be seen what happens but my understanding is since I have CAs below me, I should be able to get a CA slot and then they either get downgraded or company allows them to stay CAs and carry the extra. Not sure yet.
