Prospective Aircraft Dispatcher

Tomorrow I will be accepting a job with Avantair in Clearwater, FL as an Assistant Dispatcher/Flight Follower. They operate Under Part 135 and Part 91, I'm super excited to start this new chapter in my life!!

Congrats! Sounds like you didn't need any help with your resume after all. :) Let us know how everything goes at the new job.

Thank you! It's still good to have a well written CV and resume on hand. I was told that the job may only be temporary so i'm not 100% sure on all of the details yet, I will know more soon. I am committed and most defiantly excited!

Hi Bradley:

This is Lance from Sheffield...just read your good news! That's awesome! You should be proud. It's good to be home, but my wife and I have some big decisions to make as to where we are willing to move to, etc. I have started to get my resume and applications out there and will be casting a big net, and hopefully we will get some responses soon. Keep us updated on how the new job is going. I am planning on getting my facebook account up and running ASAP. Take care and God bless!

Lance, good to hear from you, thank you! You will get on somewhere, and they will be lucky to have you on their team! Send me a friend request on Facebook for sure!

Just passed my ADX as well! 83% in 75 minutes, and now I get to do it all again in two weeks for the oral and practical.

Congrats Jose! Now the fun begins!

For those of you who are new Sheffield Grads, apply to every job posted on Sheffield's website, even if they say you need multiple years of experience. Companies don't go out of their way to post of Sheffield's website for no reason. They wan't Sheffield grads. My current job required 3 years of experience when I applied for it, but here I sit :)

Good luck!

Accepted an offer for the Aircraft Dispatcher position at Republic Airways and will be moving to Indianapolis!

Very nice! Keep us updated on QOL out in Indy while working for Republic. I'm still trying to move up at Southwest to get into the SOC but if nothing works out in the next few months, I'm going to just get my DX license and start applying to regionals.
