Prospective Aircraft Dispatcher

Vacation is almost over, Iv'e paid my housing and tuition in full. Iv'e been working on re typing out all of the questions Sheffield gives us to study. I wanted to make the 600 questions list with questions and only the correct answer. I'm not sure if It's the best idea..But I feel like with there being so many questions to study, reading incorrect answers will only jog my memory at this point. I'm defiantly nervous as crap, but I want to attempt to prepare my self as best possible while I can. When I get back home i'm gonna sit down and try to get a decent grasp on the mathematical questions. Iv'e been trying to figure out how to read METARs and SIGMET charts this week.

I got a 74%, and a 88% on my first two tests. Graphic Wx/Weather Charts test tomorrow! I just got back from taking my ADX, I got a 84% on it!!!!:))) AIM/Jeppsen test next week, if anyone has any tips for me!! Lol

Congratulations Bradpmp! I'm looking at attending Sheffield in January for the one week residency. I'll be taking the ADX in October. Do you have any classmates doing the same or something similar? Any information will be helpful.

There are several here fror the 2/3 week recedency and I hear we have more comming for the 1 week recedency on Monday. Coming down to the wire, we started flight planning. I got an 80% on my Wx Charts test, and a 85% on AIM/Jepp test. Regs test on Friday!

Congrats man! I had been planning on going to IFOD the end of this year/beginning of next, but nay, I've had to push back my plans at least another six months.

Passed my Practical Exam!! It was incredibly stressful and intense! I felt so emotional after he reached out to shake my hand, the stress of the 5 week course felt almost unbearable at times. I had to keep my head up and do my best and it worked out for the good. I just wanna sleep right now..lol

Congrats bro...Its intense but it's only 5 weeks. Be glad for that. I wish I hadn't spent years getting my other certs only to find out the dispatcher route is the best deal out there. Wish I had known that 20+ years ago. I wouldn't have wasted my time in MX. Now you need to go out and network a lot of people on here with great information. Womanpilot73 is a good example of someone who networked well before she even finished school and got hired right out of school. Best of luck to you !!!

Congrats! Now the job search, and then after you get hired, you'll have a bunch more stuff to learn. :) Good luck!

Congrats Brad! So happy for you, and I know that feeling you spoke of. I felt the same exact way. Five weeks of intense stress all leading up to the O&P. I felt drained afterward!! Way to go...it's been fun being on this journey with you. Keep us posted on your progress! :)
