Promotional Gifts

What have you given, received, or seen that are cool/handy promotional gifts that would be appropriate to an aviation business?

I'd like to give out some Christmas gifts this year to some students, CFI's, referral sources, and other networking contacts.

What I dont want to give: keychains, cheap plastic pens, and other typical disposable promo crap like that

Some ideas: nice technical t-shirts with my business/logo, a nice aviation photo calendar, gift certificate to the local pilot shop (doesn't have a lasting promotional value, but should be memorable)

I'm thinking something with a value around $20.. but my creative juices are just not flowing this morning. Any cool ideas?

There are a number of good book options. Namely Stick and Rudder for the primary guys. Rich Stowell's Emergency Maneuver Training and Spin Awareness books for any pilot level. Sammy Mason's book Stalls, Spins, and Safety for any pilot level. An easy 100ish page read with some fascinating stories of situations he's lived through.

I don't know if any of those will be in your price range, but you can turn any book gift into a promo for your company by putting a sticker on the cover, inside or outside. Stickers can be made up for you cheap by a number of business card publishing companies.
