What browser (including version) and operating system are you using?

Heh, ok.

I've done a little poking around, and it turns out that the new version of vBulletin uses javascript libraries that are hosted on Yahoo's servers. Some vBulletin functions will break if the user's browser is unable to access the Yahoo user interface library. I imagine that there will be a few users who have problems because they are using Firefox with some sort of script management plugin, or perhaps Adblock. Not a big deal, in any case.

Let's go back to Berkut's last question to you and start from there.

What browser (including version) and operating system are you using?

If you can get that information then I'm sure someone can help you change your browser options appropriately.

Step 1:

The browser is the software that you use to browse the internet. Most people probably still use Internet Explorer. Other options include Firefox and Opera. There are more as well.

Go to the top of your screen and click on the "Help", then "About Internet Explorer (or Firefox or Opera as appropriate)". You will get another screen that will give you the Version of Internet Explorer (or Firefox or...).

Step 2:

Determine your operating system. Most people use some version of Windows (unless you are on a Mac). The current versions that are most in use are either XP (Home or Professional) or Vista. Other Windows versions include the old Windows 98, Windows 2000, Windows NT...

I'm running a really old version of Windows on the laptop I'm sitting at right now so I can't tell you for sure the best way to find out what your operating system is, but a pretty good bet is to go to your Start Menu, click "Help", and look around there.

I'm not igonoring the issue, I've been scanning the vbulletin site looking for similar issues and so far, no dice.

Ehh. Been messing with it some and I'm not convinced it's just a script issue. My old copy of IE6 doesn't work right either. IE users might try "upgrading" to IE7 and see if that helps.

I have windows XP with Internet explorer with a high speed dsl.

I vote we bring back the old style so we can all see the profiles.:D

I was having the same problems and I found a way to fix it. At the bottom of this or any page there is an area that says "default". If you click on the arrow there are three options and when you click on "tester" the tabs work.

Very interesting, so it's a template reversion issue...

Lemme tinker with it some more, just a sec..
