since you're in woodbridge, which isnt really that far on the parkway to Caldwell, have you tried looking at any of the schools there? I am going to a Part 141 there, the instructor I use is on this forum. Their mx program is top notch. Haven't seen a plane down yet
Do not go to Princeton. If the lady that still runs the flight school there, well, have not heard one nice thing about her.
Absolutely. This is what I did from one Jersey boy to another.
Grew up in Toms River, went to Rutgers played football there, I can not emphasize this enough but...GET YOUR COLLEGE DEGREE. Graduated in 2005.
During my senior year at college, flew at a FBO at KBLM Eagles View. Had a great instructor that got me all my ratings in 13 months. Instructed for a summer, ended up at Colgan Air in October 2005 where I am a Captain today.
If I were you, I would go to Caldwell or where other Jetcareers users are at.
By the way GET YOUR COLLEGE DEGREE, mine was in political science and history, get it in something outside of aviation.
Any more questions? Don't hesitate to PM me if you have any.
Are they reasonably priced?
Why don't you check out Linden Airport? It's right next to woodbridge. It's also my hometown.
just one thing you might want to consider, the airport at princeton is about three miles north of the train station on route 206...i'm not sure how pleasant of a walk that would be or if any busses run up there
This kind of reminds me, if you do train in Princeton, have you thought about doing the associates program through mercer county college? I know you're in middlesex, but sense middlesex doesnt offer the program, you pay county resident rate. It's something to look into. Depending on where I go after I get my CFI, i may be taking some courses there or at Morris, that also offers the program.
yeah I am kind of into the bachelor degree more sine most Regionals want it. I am seriously thinkin of going to Vaughn College, where are you going?
