Hello guys. Here is my situation.. I'm at the point where I am ready to check ride but I have been terrified of taking my written exam due to me being horrible on exams in general. Is there any advice you guys can give me to pass?? I have the King video's and the ASA test prep, but ,y my attention span with the King videos is lower then anything. Any tips would be much appreciated.

Once you've read the material and reviewed the videos, you should take one practice test every day. Review the study areas where you are weak. Each day your score will climb, in a week you'll be rocking it. Then go take the test, it will be familiar and you'll do fine.

You're already "not passing" by not taking it... you cannot do any worse than that!

There's a little tough love motivation for you ;)

If you have a smart phone I'm a huge fan of the Sporty's Study Buddy app. It's something you can look at anywhere...standing in line for coffee, using the restroom, etc. Just completely immerse yourself in studying. Study every free chance you get and in no time you'll feel confident and ready.

I could no longer watch those King videos.. I'm sure they're great for a commercial pilot or something, but I felt like their cheesy jokes were just making me not wanna take my test even more. I went ahead and bought the ASA test prep app for my phone which was 9.99... worth every penny, and studied for a day and just got a 92 today! Thanks for the suggestions. Time for the check-ride!

Nice job, congrats on overcoming the roadblock and picking up a good score to top it off! On to the check ride, have fun!
