Well as many of you may know I tried last Monday but for reasons i was unable to get through the oral. Anyways today we started right back with systems, then moved to performance. Basically my answers all remained the same and from there he said, "lets go fly."
Pre flight inspection was great. He told me go pre flight the plane and I did so. He didnt even ask one question. From there we jumped into the cockpit went through the checklist and started off. Even with this he told me to skip the passanger breifing as he has been flying for years. From this point we taxied to runway 16 and departed on our X/c course. After nailing the 1st check point we manuevered over Greenfield, IN. At this point he had me do steep turns, then power off, power on stalls, hood work, unsual attitude, and then back in for a short field landing. Followed by a short field t/o and soft field landing. All in all it was pretty easy. Flight was only .9 and we got back and go my temporary.
Right after this I jumped in an Archer (never flown before) and did my 1st x/c with our flight school manager to drop some paper work off. Came back around 6pm and did some IFR work already. Things are looking real good now. Glad this first step is over with.
