On another board, www.flightinfo.com we are having a lively discussion about the possible rebirth of pay for training in the current market slump. This guy, smart guy with usually great posts, is comparing PFT with being a scab and states that no one will ever respect a PFT...ever. I take issue with this. As long as a pilot gets the job done, I' can't imagine that it would matter how he got where he got in his career.
You're closer to the industry than I am (totally stranded in Japan), do you think there is fall out from going through the direct track program?
