Possible Pax Bomber at DIA?

Apparently a diplomat from Qatar.....Should be interesting regarding diplomatic immunity.

This is going to end badly.

Either it was legit and the Qataris are going to look BAD, or it WASN'T legit and the Air Marshal is going to look bad.
 
Looking more and more like a passenger being a smartass and an Air Marshal doing his job.

I know it's rampant speculation....but if THAT is the case, I hope this arsehole gets deported. Permanently.

Probably thought his diplomatic immunity was going to save his behind. Seems like this will get very sticky...

If that's the case, it seems like the Air Marshal didn't use enough force.

I'm a pacifist by nature. Truly.

But if you make a comment like "I was setting my shoes on fire" and you're in an airplane, you deserve whatever happens to you.
 
I always love the launching of the F-16 fighters, which can do nothing to assist, and are only really there to shoot down the plane if itself becomes a threat; yet no one will admit that publically.

The guy snuck a cigarette in the lav; so the air force, FBI, CIA and the works get called in? What am I missing???
 
I was in the air over KSAC when the controller said "be advised that a United flight has reported a possible attempt to ignite someones shoes." I made my student fly the rest of the way to Willows in his socks.

Can someone explain to my why millions of dollars are being spent over someone sneaking a smoke in the lav?
