Instead of tracking furloughs, I’m hoping to track positive trends.
My cheap ass airline has dumped a metric poop tonne of opentime for June.
The days of growing a wicked beard on reserve are over.
Which cheap ass airline do you work for, again?

Not sure the accuracy but:
550 more departures, or 13,000 more credit hours.
And yes, a yellow Airbus driver.
Our airline released a document titled “some good news” and showed us booking trends from the March lows to present date. Red turning to green. Hopefully it continues!TSA passenger screening has trended positive about 12% week over week for the past month. I realize the numbers are still tiny and nothing to be excited about at about 12-14% of last year, but it is 4x off the lowest day in April. There’s no reason to believe it won’t continue to climb at the same or higher rate through the summer. I wish we could see bookings.

Loads have been picking up. Commuting to Vegas out of Portland is getting tougher. Most of my friends at mejors/legacies (UAL/AA/DAL/AS specifically) who aren't on some form of mil leave or paid absence right now, have been reporting plenty of reasonably full flights lately. That is second hand and anecdotal, but possibly can be read as good news. My FDX and UPS friends seemingly not noticed anything out of place in the last couple months. That being said, the delta info pushed a week or so ago was pretty disheartening.
UPS/FDX payloads are exceeding peak numbers which is truly unprecedented during this time of year which is usually the slowest. Some FOs making $100k/month and some Captains around $200kMost of my friends at mejors/legacies (UAL/AA/DAL/AS specifically) who aren't on some form of mil leave or paid absence right now, have been reporting plenty of reasonably full flights lately. rumors are we are pulling 15 more planes out of KROW in the next few weeks, not sure it's because of increased load factors or it's cheaper to get them out of new mexico and put them on the line.We are adding 18 new flights in June and July. We also just pulled three airplanes out of storage.
That's awesome to hear! Maybe I will actually get a chance to fly soon.rumors are we are pulling 15 more planes out of KROW in the next few weeks, not sure it's because of increased load factors or it's cheaper to get them out of new mexico and put them on the line.
