Not to detract too much from the thread, but talking about wisdom teeth extraction:
Doctors have said that taking them out as early as possible is best, something about the roots are still growing/developing, and it's best to take them out when you're young (late teens, early twenties).
Anywho, anyone else here have it really bad? For example, I had 4 permanent teeth extracted (I forget their exact name, but their location was to the side, approx. in the middle). After that, I had to get my wisdom teeth taken out because they were coming out reallllly weirdly. So now, I have only 24 teeth as opposed to the 'normal' 32. This is seen on the big chewing molars on the back sides of your mouth... I only have 2 on each four sides. I've noticed I eat slower than before when I had more teeth. Others say I'm a slow eater, while I think it's because a lack of chewing molars. Oh well!
Kinda sucks, but you gotta do what you gotta do! If someone recommends you have your wisdom teeth taken out, like Iain said, do it in a heartbeat.
