Polaroid 7" tablet

Well, I just bought this Polaroid 7" tablet. It's running an android OS. Ive never used android before. I'm looking for suggestions for some apps to download, both for Flying and general purpose use. I'd really like a plate reader or something like that (free is best, but cheap is acceptable) I already pay for my IPAD foreflight... Doesnt look like this can use Foreflight... but I'd love to be told otherwise! :)

On another note, it's brand new out of the box just so I can play with it on my couch... I'd sell it for $65... It retails for double that, but I got a deal! :)

I didn't even know they made a tablet, but I don't think that thing would have enough power to really run a whole lot.... Definitely not foreflight

I use an Android tablet and am very happy with it.

I actually forgot it at home (usually carry it with me almost everywhere), so I might forget a few things, but these are some of the apps I use all the time.

Avilution - as my EFB - sectionals, en-route, plates, weather, GPS, etc. Install from their website http://www.avilution.com and not from Google Play, and you can just pay $5/month for data updates.

FolderSync - syncronize files with most popular cloud storage systems (I use SugarSync).

I use a Sketch Pad app all the time for general notes, ATIS, whatever... all the time. I forget the one I have, but I'm sure any with a good user rating will work.

FltPlan.com Mobile - I use this for quick weather grabs, and save the results so I have proof

ezPDF - good PDF reader with ability to bookmark, highlight, made notes/annotations... great for FAA regs, AC's, books

OfficeSuite Pro - word/excel/etc.

Then there's various games and virtual instruments and such, usually whatever physics games are on sale... my kids enjoy them.

Fltplan.com has an app that will get you all your charts are such for free. Also has a GPS overlay on the charts. Oh and did I mention free?

well, i'm stuck with the Amazon App store... which i think is the limiting factor... i know nothing about droids... anyway, It's already sold... It was fun for a bit, but heh...

I have Garmin Pilot on my Galaxy Tab2 7". It makes me want to kick puppies. I also have it on my iPhone and have used it on an iPad. It works great. It's not all Garmin's fault or the device. It's the combination of the two.....

I've had looonnng talks with Garmin about it... Lets just say every time they update it to make it better some other feature craps out, to I have to re-install it to get it to work properly. The battery life on the Galaxy is less than awesome too.

As soon as I get the funds together, an iPad mini is the direction I'm headed.
