The age of ELT's is about gone so I have been considering buying a PLB to take along with me during my flights. The idea of being able to send out an emergency code with Lat/longs sounds quite nice. My question is what kind to get? There are a lot of options in quite a range and there is also the SPOT allocator which isn't quite a PLB but almost.
