Piston Multi A/C

I have several in mind, but wouldn't mind a brainstorm from the experienced out there! Looking to purchase a Piston ME Aircraft with 6 seats....

I'm gonna go out on a limb here and guess; for flying?

Personal travel? Business travel? Charter? 6 adults? 2 adults & 4 kids? 4 adults & 2 kids? Range? Priorities regarding comfort/economy/reliability/avionics/weather capability/ease of operation/ease of boarding/ad nauseum...

Aztecs can be had rather cheap. They're slow... like just about every non-cabin class twin.
The aerostar is a sweet airplane... distance? Speed requirements? Fuel? Cost per hour?
Lots of varriables, and there's a lot between a pa23/C3XX and a 421.

Navajo, 400-series Cessna, Aerostar if you're up for something unique. Get something more capable than what you think you need now, as you will soon discover how useful a large twin can be.

Such an open-ended question. Sort of like me asking, "I have several in mind, but wouldn't mind a brainstorm from the experienced out there! Looking to purchase a vehicle with 6 seats...." There are dozens of different cars/vans/trucks out there that would fit this description, from a hacked out 1980's Dodge Caravan to a limousine.

To get a real answer on a forum like this, you need to specifically define your goals. I mean... you didn't even mention a budget. Take a trip on www.controller.com and see what is out there first. Then you can come back with more specific questions, and get some solid answers.

Yea I understand...I know Im being VERY general. I haven't met with the owner to ask all these questions but will happen so I know what its uses will be.

Is one of the "3 adults maybe 4" the pilot? If not, you're going to need a cabin class twin which should narrow down the selection some. Cessna 340/414/421 and the Piper Navajo are probably what you'll be looking at.
