Envoy Pipeline Instructor Pilots
A career path from CFI to First Officer!
Envoy has partnered with multiple universities and flight schools to develop a career path from CFI to regional airline pilot. This exciting program gives the pilot a secured position at Envoy while building time towards the ATP minimum flight experience requirements. Not only does the program provide this streamlined career path, but instructors are hired and employed by Envoy while they are still instructing.

Compensation and Benefits

Pipeline Instructors will be hired by Envoy and work as an instructor at a partner flight school or university. Pipeline Instructor compensation is commensurate with experience and determined by the flight school/university.

As an Envoy employee, a comprehensive benefits package is available to Pipeline Instructors. Envoy employees enjoy competitive health, dental and vision coverage, vacation and sick leave, 401k retirement, and travel privileges on the entire American Airlines Group network.

Training

Once Pipeline Instructors reach the ATP minimums and at least 50 hours of multi-engine experience, they are placed into new hire pilot training in the next available new hire class. Training is conducted in Irving, TX. Hotel accommodations, salary and per diem are provided during the six to eight-week training program.
