Pinnacle LGA

Wow, bummer for you PNCL guys on that one. Had no idea. We all have our battles to contend with, crazy industry this is. Maybe I missed it, was this addressed in the TA ya'll turned down?

Yah, I had no idea either, that's why I asked. I figured you'd guys have at least block or better with the crap hourly rates you guys have. I've got a lot of friends that fly/flew for Pinnacle, I have no clue how they make a living, even on 4th year FO pay.

The TA contained trip value or greater, not block or better. It was an improvement over the current scheme.

Yeah, I viewed trip value or better in the TA as a means to an end. We might not get block or better on the new contract, but it's a step in the right direction for the next agreements. Too bad the rest of the stuff in there was so friggin' terrible.

Block or better is industry standard even at the regionals. You guys should settle for nothing less especially with the move to LGA.

No docking for "MU"/Minutes Under, full pay for "MO"/Minutes Over. And duty-period minimum.

Well, hopefully next time around it gets better. Kind of like our BHO scam, not many of us like it but hopefully we can get rid of it one day.

I'm sure glad DCI is sending someone else up to JFK and LGA so we can fly out of other hubs like DTW! I'm tired of taking massive coordinated cancellations when a drop of rain or snow flake falls in NYC.

Change NYC to MEM (and leave out the rain), and it's the same. Most of the last push out of MEM got canceled last Sunday night. My flight was boarded, ready to go and just released to go get de-iced. Couldn't get a ground crew to push us, and about 10 minutes later we found out why when the gate agent showed up to de-plane. I had FOUR messages from scheduling when we opened the door switching me to 4 different flights. By the time I called them back, anything they could have put me on had canceled. Ironic thing? It stopped snowing altogether about 5 minutes later. One of our guys was commuting home, and called the gate at his home airport. Their response? "You're still on the plane? Dispatch called and told us that flight was canceled an hour ago." The destination airport knew the flight was canceled before anyone else in MEM did. Commitment to communication, I guess.....

At least MEM isnt like that in the sun....... We are in for big changes, but hey it should be easier to shut it down to try and get the new contract when we have significant presence in ATL and NYC
