Pinacolaba SLI

I put this in the Universal Translator onboard the Enterprise here and it keeps coming up with "Oops! I was wrong!"

Nah, I was right. I was the one who told our ex-SPC committee member that there is no point to arbitration negotiations because our 3 unions will never come up with a solution by themselves that everyone agrees on. I told him that we'd all be better off sending this to the arbitrator from day one, and this is right after we got the JCBA and before mediated neogiations. On May 15 when it was due, Bloch said by Friday it would be done. On Friday, he said is decision is done, and will be published on Monday. On Monday he asked for 3 seniority lists (one from each airline) to issue his award, and then the hell broke loose. I blame union fighting, incompetency on maintaining a list, and a lack of people SLI committee members admitting "yeah, we screwed up."

Relax.

It will come.

If you didn't think Delta versus NWA didn't involve wrangling, in-fighting, cat-fighting, smack-talk, et al, you really missed an entertaining period in Southernjet's history.

This is kind of the way it works. Unless, of course, if you're American and just break out the big red Swingline.

Yeah, true. I did google the arbitration award and found the pdf file that was the Bloch/Eischen decision for the NWA/Delta SLI, including the conditions/restrictions. It all seems interesting. Time will eventually reveal the list, but until then, I got heads to roll via PS3 tournament.

There is such a wealth of things you can learn from some of us "old" guys.

There's nothing new, there's nothing different, just the same cycle occurring time and time again, but with different names.

Old guys? You are a spring chicken Doug! But you are right the game stays the same with different players and rules...

Are you even allowed to comment on this? :)

I think so! I still have access to all the company websites, so for all I know, I still work there. I figured payroll was just a little behind again. I've had a great schedule this last few months, too...30+ days off!

Youre still on the seniority list.

Maybe if I check your crew room file you might have a couple of paychecks in there. That would be funny!

*head scratch* I thought 9E only had list errors....

Congrats on greener pastures...

When the "theres an error on one of the lists" broke, I just assumed it was 9L. It's been a few months since my seniority number has changed, and I know of at least 3 guys that have bailed. 2 of them being super senior guys.

XJ's list is pristine perfect.. ;)

That's because at Mesaba, when you don't hire, have barely any movement, no upgrades (asides from a couple to LGA SF340), there's not a whole lot changing on the XJ list. Since the 07-08 furloughs, there haven't been any additions to the Mesaba list until the recent hiring cycle to fill LGA FO positions. Compare that to the Pinnacle list, with no furloughs since the 9/11 furloughs, constant stream of upgrades, newhires, terminations, resignations, and reinstatement from termination, you're bound to have a few errors here and there.
