Pimp My Ride

It's mine!

:)

Doug, I've seen a pic of your living room with a nice-sized flat screen TV in it. Now I see a pic of your less than modern car.

Chinook's analysis? You've got your priorities in order.

Those car/audiophile junkies over on the UND forum are weirdos, and you don't wanna be like them. :)

Since I got married, my need for a pimped up ride went out the window!

And yes, that's a cassette player! :)

I keep telling him he needs a new(er) pimp mobile but i guess he'd rather wait till he has gray hair and can officially look cool in a corvette.. hahahha

Dunno, everytime I see you two he is in your car. I *think* he only drives his car to the airport and back, or around town when he has to do something and you're at work.

So, does he really *need* a newer car, for anything other than the cool factor? I say yes. Lol, but he might disagree!

Year and miles?

Have a 99 civic that I plan to use until I'm 30, lol. Need another 7 years out of it, and it's at 99k.

1992 and maaaaaaybe cracked 100,000 miles.

Everything has fallen apart because the thing would sit undriven for weeks in the MKE parking lot, then the ATL parking lot, then MCO, then a short hiatus in DFW, but then Kristie got sick of chauferring me around so I drove it back to AZ.

You put a ring on a girl's finger, that "princess parking/dropoff/pickup" thing goes away pretty quick! :)

(I can pick on her because she just called and said she's on her way home from the office so she can't reply! Moohoohaw!)

I've got a 93 Honda, just cracked 90k miles, that rocks the cassette. Actually it rocks the radio 'cause I don't have any cassettes. 100.3 WKIT.....It's the one Stephen King owns, not some national radio BS.

You guys are all lucky. I push from 40-50,000 a year on a car. Did over 80,000 one year on an Ford Expedition (2000-2002). Even with flying more lately I still have put 35-40,000 on my current ride each year.

Thank you! That's me. I have an '04 Accord that I bought at the end of '04 so I've had it about 2 1/2 yrs and it has over 65,000 miles on it.

hey.. i represent that remark...

kidding...chauffering can get old and did after 2+ years of it, but i still do it from time to time when it's needed....people forget that us girls have a life too. we're not all about taking 4 hours out of our day to pick you up and drop you off at the airport (dependient on how far one lives from the airport & traffic) haha
