1) It's Shuttle (S5 as Max calls em) that flies for DAL

Not that I know a whole lot but, the Delta flying is on the Freedom certificate using the ERJ's, CRJ 900's and for a short period of time the DHC8-100's. Delta is terminating our 50 seat contract, which means for now Freedom will continue to operate the CRJ 900's. Recent propaganda from the glass tower, if I remember correctly, stated that the June schedule from Delta only has 12 lines of flying for the Jungle Jet out of JFK. They also stated that we will continue to operate the CRJ 900, but who knows, it might just be a matter of time untill they yank that flying from the company and have someone else fly them. If you ask me anything larger than 50 seats belongs at mainline, better yet anything that is a jet belongs there. Sorry I sound cranky guys and gals, had a bad day at the office involving one of our esteemed SJS jet FO's that has been with the company for 10 months complaining that someone that is 1 month junior to him was awarded Captain upgrade and he wasn't,even though he only has 800 hours.:rolleyes:

I'm not even through upgrade yet, and I feel your pain on that one. The "upgrade when my seniority will hold it no matter what crowd" will be the downfall of us all.....
 
Is there anyway to save this thread, so in 3 years we can pull it out, like a time capsule?

I've a feeling a lot of people will be singing to a different tune. I fear the day that regionals furlough... it would be like getting bumped off the short bus, and told you have to take the School minivan every morning.

We could do the same with the bazillion Colgan threads here too. Whats the point? The Regionals are where most of us are employed, and probably will be for a looong time. Read the news much?

Looks like Republic is done with training as well. I had a friend who started class there last week and was sent home on Friday when the class was cancelled.
