An open mind and serious attitude, along with proficiency and precision, is a prerequisite to becoming a Nicholas Air Pilot.</div><div> </div><div><strong>What aircraft will I be flying?</strong></div><div><br />Current qualification and prior experience determine which aircraft and tier program you will be matched with. The Nicholas Air fleet consist of the Pilatus PC-12’s, Phenom 100’s, Phenom 300’s, Citation CJ3’s, and Citation Latitude. The Nicholas Air fleet averages 5 years or newer, making it the newest fleet in any membership or charter based<br />program.</div><div> </div><div>Benefits, Nicholas Air offers: <br />Health, Dental and Vision Insurance, 401k Retirement Plan with Company Match, Company Paid Life Insurance, Meal Allowance up to $60 Per Day, Travel & Hotel Expenses Provided, Known Crewmember Participant, Pilot Referral Program.</div><div> </div><div>What are the minimum requirements to become a Nicholas Air pilot?</div><div> All pilots must have the following:</div><div><ul><li>First Class Medical</li><li>Never Failed a Drug or Alcohol Test</li></ul><div>Captains must have the following minimums:<br /><ul><li>Airline Transport Pilot (Single or Multi-Engine Land)</li><li>Preferred Experience in any of the following: PC-12, Phenom 100, Phenom 300, Citation CJ3, Citation Latitude </li><li>1,000 hours PIC </li><li>500 hours Multi-engine </li><li>500 hours cross country </li><li>100 hours night </li><li>100 hours instrument (actual) </li><li>100 hours turbine </li></ul>*Deviation from these minimums may be allowed by discretion of Chief Pilot and Director of Operations</div><div> </div><div>First Officers must have the following minimums:</div><div><ul><li>Commercial Pilot with Instrument rating</li><li>1,000 hours total</li><li>250 hours Multi-engine</li><li>250 hours cross country</li><li>50 hours night</li><li>50 hours instrument (actual) </li><li>50 hours turbine </li></ul>*Deviation from these minimums may be allowed by discretion of Chief Pilot and Director of Operations</div><div> </div><div>What Schedule can I expect.</div><div>Nicholas Air offers rotation schedules:<br /><ul><li>8/6 – Eight On, Six Off</li><li>15/6 – Fifteen On, Six Off</li><li>22/6 – Twenty-Two On, Six Off</li></ul><div><strong>Selection Process: </strong><br />If selected for an interview with NICHOLAS AIR, our Concierge department will provide you with arrangements. You will be responsible for booking your own transportation to and from the interview, however, upon arrival at our corporate office, you will be reimbursed for your transportation expenses. Any associated hotel stay will be arranged and paid for by NICHOLAS AIR.</div><div><br />The interview process is conducted in one day and includes a Q & A session about NICHOLAS AIR, a technical test, logbook review, and a two-panel interview. Candidates will receive an email with a Fair Credit Report form for a background check. This form must be filled out and returned prior to the interview.</div></div><div> </div></div>
