Pilot Wallet

I'm on my 2nd one of these: (although they made a slight design change with this model)

License, medical (tri-folded), and FCC card in the inner pocket. (& vaccine card now...)

All my dolla bills in the money clip. KCM barcode in clear window.

CC's, (4) AAA, metrocard, and other misc. cards (insurance, etc.) in the sleeves on the other side.

Never more than 1 1/2" deep. (even when I have lots of cash for a 5 day or something)

I keep my passport in it's own protector (simple bi-fold with CC & business card slots - random cards i've collected over the years, hotel points for places we have 'stay credits'. intl hotel 'free drink' coupons for when places did that, intl money I have left over etc.) elsewhere in my kit and throw it in my front pocket with a gen dec when I need to clear intl'. So basically just my passport will 'live' in my pocket during intl flight segments, and the intl random stuff I carry has a place in my bag to be pulled out when i need it.

Go small, your back will thank you someday.

This is what I use for my pilot docs. I just keep it in my flight bag. You can see the basic pics of the front and back on the website. For further detail of the inside, see the pics of mine below.

Inside: there are two pockets where you see the pilot certs, two zipper pockets, a pocket between the zipper pockets, and a big pocket behind the zipper pockets. My passport is in the bigger zipper pocket. It would be completely out of sight if I put it into the rear inside pocket.

I keep my medical certificate in the clear outer/front pocket.

Can’t imagine needing anything else

It does set off the metal detector when I get randomed all of the time so it just goes in the bowl

Never noticed the tactical part.

Well it works for me

Now for some reason I found I have a collection of transit cards like people collect cats. So they just hang out in a pocket in my flight kit until the next overnight.

But many of the transit cards are going virtual so maybe theyll end up in a landfill somewhere.

That’s not a bad idea. I freaked out last month when I landed and realized I had misplaced my medical. It’s funny, I can’t help but think of when i was younger and I would see “old people” doing stuff like this and here we are. Lol

Until the lanyard clip comes apart and your stuff falls somewhere between A and F terminals while you are rushing to a DH.
