Used Pilot USA headset. I'm the second owner, and have used it a lot. The ANR on it is really good - it's quite comfortable for my head. It's definitely used, but in good condition. New, they go for about $460. They're kind of unique in that there is no battery pack - it's inside the headset, so you plug the charger directly into it.

Pilot USA customer service is really, really good. They're made in America. The owner of Pilot USA (I have the email to prove it) offered to recondition it for me (with new earseals) and add the cellphone/music adapter for another $50. I think the total reconditioning charge was going to be $125 or so. I was happy with it as-is so I never bothered. Comes with carrying case - not pictured.

I'm not flying much lately and need the money to knock down a little bit of debt that I racked up in the last few months.

This is a great ANR headset to start out. It's not a Bose or a Zulu, but it also doesn't cost nearly as much.

3) Headset with charger plugged in. You unplug the mic from it, plug in the charger. After a full charge (about 12 hours from full discharge) you unplug the charger and plug the mic back in. Works well.

I've never tested the full battery life, but it's pretty good. As long as you remember to turn it off. Even if the battery does run out, the passive protection is decent. I'd say better than a Bose, but not as good as a Zulu.

Like I said, it's used, but it's just a hair more than a decent PNR headset and you get ANR. Once you fly with ANR, you won't want anything else. It's a good, fair price for a starter ANR headset.

PM if interested.

I used to have one of these headsets before I transitioned to a jet. Mine would last 8-12 hours in a twin t-prop or twin pistion depending on the amount of cockpit noise. It was comfortable to wear the cell phone adaptor came in handy several times while getting clearances.

I too can attest to the great customer service by Pilot USA. I only had two minor issues (that I caused) and they fixed it quickly..

Just to be clear - this unit does NOT have the cell phone adapter. But Pilot USA can add it on for you if you want for a nominal charge.
