Pilot Slang on Radios

We could always ask Foxtrot Xray as he's our ATC guy here at JC!

But I'm sure some 15 hour student pilot would want to argue with him! ;) :sarcasm:

VATSIM.net, baby. All I need to know to be a real controller, controlling real airplanes.

As real as it gets.

Well, here's a Dell support technical service answer.

Durka durka, I can't help you then, durka.

Ask the resident ATC rep what the issues are. If you're unwilling to do so, it's outside of the scope of the website. We're all about first hand knowledge.

hahahahhahhhaah

that yields 2 net points for dt!

Shooting landings at a GA controlled airport- we turned base leg kind of close in becuase a dude was out there on final, traffic was relatively slow and the tower wasn't sequencing anyone.

Tower, "Cessna 71 Hotel, Uhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh?, Cleared to land"

Or one day, "Expedite taxi midfield turnoff, traffic over the threshold, ground point niner when clear"

"Dear Dough, I PM'd someone but his box was full!! Please delete his PMs"

I was relaying my own first-hand knowledge from my discussion with a card carrying NATCA member (tower controller at KORL.)

:D

But we have one on-site that can speak for himself where we all can say, "Ahhh! That's what the deal is!"
