Pilot Shortage!

The shortage will kick in just about in time for the infrastructure and technology to allow for single pilot airfreight ops which will eventually lead the way to single pilot operations in selected part 121 situations.
 
I was on a panel where I was asked about this a few weeks ago, where I responded by citing United's pre-pandemic flight school purchase as evidence that airlines will simply be forced to fund training on their end.

It's only a matter of time. AA is going to declare bankruptcy before the end of the year just so they can screw labor, and United won't be far behind. The ULCCs are going to be merged at gunpoint with the big 3. The writing is on the wall. If you disagree with me I'm going to insult you repeatedly and say you're a pollyanna.
