Nicholas Air Oxford, Mississippi:<BR /><u><strong>Hours</strong></u><br />This position is required to work days, nights &amp; weekends on a&nbsp;rotating schedule.<br /><div>&nbsp;</div><div><u><strong>Position Overview</strong></u></div>This position will be responsible for effectively organizing&nbsp;Crew Schedules to maximize pilot utilization and aircraft usage efficiency. Assign&nbsp;and notify pilots of trips. This role works closely with all Crew Members and other&nbsp;company departments to ensure that best possible solutions are identified.<br /><div>&nbsp;</div><div><u><strong>Duties &amp; Responsibilities</strong></u></div><ul><li>Interact with Crew Members with regards to flight schedules and trip assignments</li><li>Coordinate with the Flight dispatchers on all trips</li><li>Ensure the appropriate crew is assigned to the applicable airplane on assigned trips&nbsp;</li><li>Rearrange Crew Schedules due to unforeseen circumstances</li><li>Willing to work a rotating AM/PM schedule. Will be required to work holidays and weekends as the schedule requires</li><li>Ensure part 91 and 135 regulations are followed in crew scheduling practices</li><li>Understanding of airline routes and landing characteristics of company aircraft.</li><li>Understanding of aircraft weight &amp; balance, and performance capabilities.</li><li>Responsible for operation and updating of the scheduling system</li><li>Monitor the flight schedule to ensure highest internal utilization</li><li>Escalate any demand concerns to Management and make necessary recommendations</li><li>Manage difficult or emotional crew member situations with courtesy and sensitivity</li></ul><u><strong>Required Skills</strong></u><br /><ul><li>Demonstrate aptitude in crewmember flight, duty and rest regulations and planning</li><li>Excellent oral/written communication and problem resolution skills are required to keep Crew Members well informed</li><li>High-level computer experience to be used in Scheduling System and Flight Planning</li><li>Communicating with Crew Members in a fast paced and often rapidly changing environment</li><li>Experience with a 24/7 on-call rotation preferred</li><li>Exhibit good learning and comprehension</li><li>Detail oriented mind-set a must</li><li>Hands-on, high energy approach essential</li></ul>
