Pilot Resume Help

For some reason, I am really struggling with this.

I am trying to create a couple different resumes; one for airline/corporate flying, and one for jobs that are flying and a bit more (IE Air Interdiction).

In any case, I am starting to think that a good aviation consultant could help me with my resume and I am willing to pay for that.

Does anyone have any reccomendations?

Kathy is well regarded as one of the premier resume writers in the aviation industry. She might tear your current resume apart (kidding), but she'll build it right back up again for you.

If you're a member over at PPW, just drop her a PM (Resume Writer) and she'll be more than happy to help. If not, just get in touch with her through her website.

During my for-cation, I've amassed about 30 different resumes, maybe 15 of those are aviation related, and 5 of those are for pilot positions. So I know exactly what you're going through, except I just did it alone. Managed to get a job without anyone's help, but I have no doubt that if I had went to Kathy or any other consultant I wouldn't have been out on the street for as long as I was.

Good luck.

Talk to albie over on APC or flameinfo.

Albief15. emeraldinterviewconsulting if i remember correctly.

Commission boooooo yah.

I second working with Kathy for a resume. You may be able to knock out one on your own and it may be OK but why not go to a pro for something this important. She can advise how to tailor it so it's good from an HR perspective.

A rather inexpensive thing in the Big Picture.
