Pilot Interview companies/services

Hello everyone. I am trying to gather insight on what services are out there and which one should I join regarding these companies that help you prepare for an interview for a Major/LCC/Cargo carrier. My preference would be to find one company that can do everything, including resume review, interview prep, application process, test/jkt and whatever else i am forgetting, if that even exists.

I understand there are a lot out there and most do, for example, Resume/app review but you have to go to someone else for JKT. So I will list my preferred places (currently at a regional) and I will wait on your feedback to see which services to reach out to get a tailored approach in this process.

Primary: United, Delta and FedEx.
Second: SWA, jetBlue, Spirit, American, Frontier

Cage and Emerald Coast are the reputable ones. There was also a guy who posted a bunch on here Aero something or another that seemed legit. During the last boom there were a ton of shady places.

I used Cage about 10 years ago to prep for an interview with a major. I went 1 for 3 over the course of 18 months so I guess it worked out. They were helpful but I didn't really feel like much they did was any more helpful than reading stuff online to prep.

My suggestion is to find a good one and then if you think it will help you and make you feel more confident going in to an interview, do it.

Yea Cage I have worked with before and I think you’re referring to Aero Crew solutions? However it seems that many of these places offer only one or two applications at a time. Are there others that are out there that are not name brands per say but are very useful?

Raven careers has a great group of people and does not target a specific airline, although they have people that can help you for each one. I worked with them a bit just on my general profiles and online presence and had a very good experience.

Also can speak to Cage Marshall- they've been present at the NGPA industry expo events and I've gotten good feedback about their resume writing help, as well as interview prep.

Our experience with Cage also speaks to the luck, innate interview skill, and connection factor related to getting hired. @sorrygottarunway interviewed on the same day. He was in class about 1 month later. I was in class 10 months later. The prep companies can help you get the interview, and brush up your skills on what to say and how to act during the interview, but at the end of the day it's all on you.

Is that part of Raven, the Alaskan carrier?

Emerald Coast worked for me for Blewjet and FedUp. I supplemented with RST for the F.U. interview. Bonus points for Emerald Coast- they have a lifetime subscription so I watch Albies videos from time to time to help me fall asleep.

Emerald Coast did the trick for me for for Delta interview prep. The owner fell victim to cancel culture over the past year. I don't know what he did to deserve it because I wasn't really paying attention. Thing is, everybody I know used it and nobody got the TBNT. Not one. I was just in the videos this week for an interview.

A name I haven't seen here for app/resume review is Checked and Set. AirlineApps is an onerous, • experience. I had several friends go through my app, and C&S still caught stuff. I used Charlie Venema. Excellent work.

The old RST argument- It is way way overpriced, but if there were a cheaper alternative we would use it. Tito should be embarrassed at how poorly his web site is put together, but at the end of the day, it is 3 or 4 hundo for JKT and Cog Test peace. That's a fart in the wind for the job that it helps you get. Yeah, the Cog test is ultimately easy and all the knowledge is in ANA, but you don't stand a chance if you don't at least know what the games are, and you sure as heck aren't reading ANA cover to cover.

Not sure if I'm in the minority but I feel like you can save the $400 for RST and just study the Aero for Naval Aviators book.

Getting access to some tests that resemble what you will do for the COG test isn’t a bad idea though. Although I had to take the “work around” examples when RST received the desist order, it was still nice to have a general idea of what I was getting into.

Seriously?! What happened to the owner of EC?

Nevermind, found it. Wow is all I can say.

How many beers do you think he drank before posting that?
So not cancel culture so much as shooting himself between the eyes I'm guessing. I only caught a post on their facebook page that said he was stepping down because he did something stupid. I was surprised that it was still him in the videos, but I'm also guessing that their revenue stream has been chopped by a huge percentage this year even without self inflicted wounds so new videos probably aren't at the top of the list.

I'm not much of a social media whiz. What I saw was a link to a Facebook post in which he claims to be 1% black and says he's going to start billing people for reparations. Someone screenshotted it and tweeted it to his employer. There's more than that? Double cringe.
