The Pilot-in-Command (PIC) is responsible for the safe conduct of flights to which they are assigned. When assigned to a flight, the PIC has the final authority as to the operation of the aircraft. The Pilot-in-Command must ensure compliance with all Federal, state, local and foreign regulations, as well as the policies and procedures specified in the company General Operations Manual, Standard Operating Procedures and other guidance material.
