I guess nothing rang a bell when he never saw runway numbers, aiming point, VASI/PAPI, possible hangars, wind sock....

and again, nothing rang a bell when he passed parked cars, blew through the stop sign and came to a stop in a handicapped parking spot.

He was looking for a residential airpark, so I'll at least give him that.
 
Couldn't he have overflown the area to see if it was an airport before committing to the landing? He could have also aborted on final too.
 
Worst part is this guy will still pass his checkride and get his ticket in a few months.... I feel like something like this should permanently show your inability to have sound judgement.

No, the worst part is that he'll be an FO on a Chinese/Indian A320 in 6-months
